Nowruz Media was created by and for our community, with the support and collaboration of our community members in the United States.

Nowruz is a non-profit, community-based media platform founded by a group of experienced media professionals and community leaders in the United States. Hundreds of Afghan immigrants in the U.S., especially newcomers, have been seeking a platform to amplify their voices and a reliable source of news and information about life in the United States. Nowruz helps Afghan immigrant communities engage more effectively in their new environment and become informed decision-makers for themselves and their families.
