Support for, promotion, or encouragement of antisemitic terrorism or physical harassment of Jewish individuals will be considered a negative factor during immigration evaluations.<\/p>\n
According to an official statement from DHS, the measure will immediately affect all foreign nationals applying for permanent residency, international students, and individuals affiliated with educational institutions linked to antisemitic activities.<\/p>\n
Tricia McLaughlin, DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, stated: \u201cThere is no place in the United States for supporters or promoters of terrorism. We have no obligation to admit such individuals into our country.\u201d She emphasized that abusing freedom of expression to incite antisemitic violence or terrorism is unacceptable and will result in the denial of immigration applications.<\/p>\n
